Lymph node behind ears near neck an head
Hi doctors First thing My son is now 1 years and 6 month old . weight is 10.5 kg while his birth weight was 2.9 kg. His weight has not been increasing steadily for past 4-5 months he was 10 kg on 1 year.when was 9 month old weight 9 kg. Then after 14 months his weight was 10kg 800gm. And last month his weight was 10kg 400gm. Second thing From last 1 month I am noticing lymph nodes on neck behind ear on head. 2-3 nodes are soft and painless. No change in skin around nodes. When I touch its look soft . sometime reduced but not hide completely . and sometimes swallow. Don't know what is that. Third thing His appetite not good . he doesn't eat anything with his own desire. Every time he feed forcefully . Forth thing His forehead palm and toe feel warm most of time. His CBC report is good . HB is 13.4 Now my concerns is why my baby not gaining weight. I am worrying about tuberculosis . But no cough no breathing issue. Only no weight gain no desire for food and warm parts Help me pls

Hello, First - your child weight is ok. Second - these small lymph nodes are there in few children, if size is same or small and not increasing - all good. Normal body parts. Third- it's normal behavior for few days during new teething time or otherwise also. Fourth - temperature normal and reports are also normal. It's not tuberculosis from your details. Take care.
