If the size of the lesion has reduced then it is a good sign.
If there is fever and pain at the local size, then need an evalution by the nearby paediatrician. But if there is no fever and pain, then nothing needs to be done.
The swelling could be because of the lymph node drain and reduction in size and pea sized sweeling is normal.
Next Steps
Do not press it continously, dont use warm or cold towel soak. It could worsen if inflamation is presnt.
Health Tips
If pain, fever and redness at local site is present, then visit to the nearby paediatrcian is recomended.
