Lungs Tuberculosis..
My ct thorax report came as Multilobar multifocal confluent foci of nodules and small foci of consolidation in right upper lobe and bilateral basal segments of lower lobe. Few boderline mediastinal nodes.. Suggestive of infective etiology.. Sputum test negative.. Intially was having high fever.. After giving Akurit 4 liver enzymes gone high. Now ALT-505 SGOT- 243 Doctor changed the drugs.. Now put on the following 1. RIFAMPICIN 600 ONCE DAILY ( EMPTY STOMACH) 2. ETHAMBUTOL 1200 ( ONCE DAILY AFTER FOOD) 3.PYRIDOXINE 10- ONCE DAILY AFTER FOOD 4. LEVOFLOXACIN 1000 MG ONCE DAILY . I am very much tensed... Whether my medicines are correct? As i heared four combination drug is essential for cure of TB.. Doctor told me to continue treatment for 1 year.. Am I going to be fully cured?? Very frightened..Plz guide.

Are you are being treated in pvt hospital or Govt hospital ? How long you have been given Akurit 4. Is there any weight drop initially Any symptoms of cough,Fever Sputum test was positive in any sample. Pls provide details. It is better to great treatment Ina govt setup under NTEP program currently.
