Hello what I could get from above question is that single lung nodule 3mm in size relatively stable over 5 months you are worried whether it is malignant or benign
I will need detailed history risk factors assessment and ct films or video to advice on further plan of management...
Just get a pet-ct done, it will cost you around 20-25k, by this test u will come to know whether it is benign or malignant and will releive you of your tension.
Family history ?
As of now u need to do ct scan to monitor it every 6 months to 1 year in the absence of symptoms
If there are any symptoms then we need to go linear probe or radial ebus.
