Swelling or lump should be well addressed. You may have to go for biopsy/ FNAC .
You can also consult an ENT surgeon for direct laryngoscopy to rule out the any additional cause for difficulty in swallowing .
The history which u had given is very short duration . So proper clinical examination is must to rule out the underlying cause .
