A small lump or pimple which is very painful since 2 days is usually due to an infection such as abscess in the axilla. Along with the prescribed antibiotic take also an anti inflammatory medicine such as chymoral plus for 3 days and the lump and pain will reduce immediately. Only a painless lump of long duration should be thorough examined and investigated.
