Lower backache last 3 weeks
10 year old girl LFT: ALP-380,Ast 40,  ALT 48, total bilirubin 0.72, ESR - 16mm/hr MPV in CBC test 13.2 fl. Serum Calcium: 10.2mg/dl. Ultrasound report shows urinary bladder floaters. Normal scan, upper abdomen with cystitis.  Can bladder infection cause high ALP. Is there any gallbladder stone. USG report says normal in outline and distensions. No focal wall thickening. What needs to be done??

ALP is a non specific test. It may specify Liver disease but it in no way signifies urinary bladder infection . There is no gall bladder pathology.

Yes it is due to the urinary tract infection. Get a urine routine and urine culture sensitivity and start antibiotics immediately and continue till results come and than change to the sensitive antibiotic after you get the culture sensitivity report. Plenty of fluids and control fever as and when needed

Floaters in urinary bladder tells there is urinary tract infection. Check with urine routine. Alkaline phosphatase increases during infection.
