Lower back pain
My mother is having lower back pain since she woke up on Friday. She is describing the pain as a stinging pain. What is the remedy.

She needs to take painkillers, hot fomentation and stay mobile as possible. The pain should ease off in a few days time. If the pain does not get better in 10-15 days time, then see a Spinal Surgeon for assessment and investigations as appropriate. Hope this helps. This is a postural pain due to fatigue or overuse of muscle or prolonged posture assumption.
Next Steps
Go to a physiotherapist.. Ultrasonic therapy +IFT +Heating therapy will be helpful... Along with some exercises.

At home.. Rest +hot water fomentation +pain killer gel..

Hello...Apply pain relief gel n after that hot formatation 2-3 times a day for 15 mins..Don't take full bad rest..But she has to avoid some strain full activity..Don't stand or sit long time.avoid forward banding.Don't lie down in sofa.If pain is persist than visit orthopedic and physiotherapy n take some pain relief treatment.
