Is it in the tail bone?
Or do you have a habit of sitting in cross leg position?
If it is in tail then probably it can be sacroiliac joint strain.
If it is your habit of sitting in cross leg position then probably it can be because of piriformis syndrome.
For sacroiliac joint strain you should go and meet the Physiotherapist and get the Mobilisation done of sacroiliac joint and if it is piriformis syndrome then you get the Mobilisation done of the piriformis along with its stretching

Hi, The best person for you to meet is an orthopedic doc.Are you doing any sitting job?if the pain is aggravating while sitting, then it's due to static loading of your spine Need to check the posture. If it's acute and hindering your work, try taking Hot fomentation SOS.It might give relief. But,still got to be examined for proper line of management.
