Depending on whether the pain is since few days or few months I am guessing few days so the home remedy is to avoid lifting heavy weight and bend from your hips and not from your back take some bed rest and while lying down use a pillow below your knees and whenever possible correct your posture by sitting straight apply some gel on your back but do not massage and if the pain is more than a week old then better to consult orthopaedic surgeon in your local area
