Lower back pain due to heavy lifting
Bck pain since 2 mths, doctors gave medication and suggested PT. MRI done recently reports broad based postero central disc protrusion,dehydration at l3-4 l4-5 disc level causing compression over thecal sac bilateral neural recesses bilateral neural foramina compressing bilateral nerve roots associated with bilateral ligamentum flavum hypertrophy.

Disc pain could be quite severe. For first 6 weeks it is a role of Medicine, rest and posture care.After which the role is of physiotherapy.

please consult a good physiotherapist. physiotherapy normally consists of electrotherapy and exercise therapy for flexibility and strength building exercises for your back.understand your posture care very well and continue to follow.
