Low testosterone
Hi doctor, I have been working out in gym regularly for last 2 months and can see the body becoming stronger. I think suffer from low testosterone as most symptoms point towards that basis what I have read on the internet. How do I test my testosterone levels and is there medication to help increase testosterone without any major side effects. As of now I suffer from hypertension and am over weight but losing weight slowly at gym. 88 kgs at 5ft 7inches.

Take testosterone only if it is confirmed yo be low. Any good lab will confirm by a simple blood test. Be consistent with your weight loss with healthy diet low fat medium complex carb high protein. Do cross traning and make good use of aerobics strenth training stretching etc. Yoga and homeopathy will help you in naturally having good testosterone level.

Hi you are certainly overweight but good news is that you have gt it under control by already hitting the gym.Here are just few things 1 Let your trainer know tou have htn as he would modulate exercises acc . 2 Pay attention to your diet,along with exercises this is imp too. 3.When you hit the gym initially body will go through lot of hormonal changes (even in females)so relax . 4 Dont rely on net education as it is very generalised and each one of us are uniquely different. So just go ahead for now and happy gyming . You can go through your entire body profile after 6 months if you dont have other complain
