Low platelet count
Good afternoon.. I am 35week pregnant..yesterday I did CBC blood test.. everything is within normal range including hemoglobin, RBC,WBC except platelet. Platelet count is low..it's 148000 where normal range starts from 150000.. should I worry for this..plz reply..

Platelet count in pregnancy is always low so the range is diff ,, upto 120 is consider normal ESR is raised in pregnancy All these are normal physiology of body So that placental circulation are maintained Need not worry Just relax Best of luck

That's normal. In pregnancy things changes DON'T WORRY IF there is no fever or any other illness

Get CBC done every week..nothing to worry at your current levels..if it has a decreasing trend u might consult hematologist .
