Low lying placenta
Hello mam.my wife 5th month near to end she was lownlying placenta as per 3rd month scan may I know 5th month scan will be any possibility for changing placenta position pl confirm . Doctor adviced for avoid sex on 3rd month. May I know placenta position what will be consider safe for sex will it be change in this month scan kindly confirm She was complaining low abdomen pain sometimes is this common or not kindly condirm

Yes usually placenta moves up as the pregnancy progresses A little pain is a normal pressure symptom of pregnancy U can have intercourse of the placenta has moved up not otherwise

placenta will migrate upwards in most of the cases.. we have to do followup scans for confirmation u can have sex after confirmation of placenta localisation other wise she will bleed

Repeat scan will reveal whether placenta is still low lying or not
