Doctors here gave me iron tablets nd dint give me much info but I just want to know what food changes can I make and and is it too late to know about my blood iron levels? My iron levels are around 10.5 Also will I be able to increase my iron in two months if I take the given pills Is my baby effected?pl let me know thankyou

Hii Dear,  1.Avoid caffeinated beverages like tea and coffee 2.Add vitamin C to your diet 3.If you are taking 1 tablet of iron you can take two if you have no issues like vomiting and abdominal pain. Yes oral iron will increase your haemoglobin within a span of 3-4 weeks. And don't worry, your baby will be fine. Have a happy and safe pregnancy You are free to contact for more information and detailed counseling. Regards
