Low HGB of 11.6
I did my CBC routine and found i have low HGB.
My Hgb is 11.6 ( ref val: 13)
PCV: 33 ( ref: 40)
RBC, WBC and Ferratin normal
Am concerned about low HGB and PCV. Google says it can be cancer or kidney problems.
I am 30 years old and Male with no problems and no heriditary kidney problems.
Please help. I am getting worried reading Google. Is my HGB a concern ?

Please don't Google for such reasons. The Hb level is near normal and there can be variations also in lab reports. Keep ur diet full of green leafy vegetables and fruits. Add jagery to ur diet as it is a very good source of iron. If you have any other problems kindly visit nearby physician or consult online.

Don't get panic by Google.
Many possibilities may be related with a particular report values.

Hello.
Hb and pcv could be low due to other reasons like nutritional deficiency as well. Did you go for the test urine albumin? If yes what was the result? Also if there’s any blood loss due to trauma or bleeding during defecation due to chronic constipation can also lower hb levels.
Also please don’t worry about low hb levels that it is because of cancer and kidney problems. As I have said nutrition is the main cause in India.
