Low hemoglobin count
My mother aged 68 years has very low hemoglobin count. She has been taking iron syrup called Redihealth for a while now. However, can you please recommend iron-rich foods that can help her increase iron count in the blood. She does not eat beef and eggs.

Hi Here are some of the iron rich foods which can help Seafood. Beans. Dark green leafy vegetables, such as spinach. Dried fruit, such as raisins and apricots. Iron-fortified cereals, breads and pastas. Peas. Dates Beetroot However before consuming these just be cautious if she is allergic to any of the above or if she is diabetic.
