Platelet count 125000 in 58-year-old male.should one be worried?No other symptoms so far.RBC 12.90 what may be the reason? can it be symptoms of something fatal ?

Hello, The normal count of platelets is 1.5 lakh to 4.5 lakh per microlitre of blood.Why did you test for platelet count ? Do you have any symptoms like peteche? Ecymosis? If it goes below 1 lakh then we should worry .You should mention units along with numbers otherwise its difficult to interpret.
The normal range of RBC in men is approximately 4.7 to 6.1 millioncells/ul (microliter) .S
