Low platelet count can occur due to various reasons, including medication side effects, underlying health conditions, or issues related to liver function. The medications you mentioned, Vozan (usually an antidepressant) and Bilypsa (used for treating liver issues), can potentially affect blood parameters, including platelet counts. It's crucial to monitor your platelet levels closely, especially since you have a history of fatty liver and acid reflux. A decrease in platelet count can lead to increased bleeding risks and other complications. I recommend consulting with your healthcare provider for a thorough evaluation. They may suggest additional tests to determine the cause of your low platelet count and to review your current medications.
