Low grade fever

Asked for Female, 34 Years

Having low grade fever 99.8 from past 12 days ... Taking doxy 100mg twice a day from 5 days and MetroGyl 400mg 3 times a day from yesterday... Having tooth abscess infection dentist has canceld removing of my wisdom tooth because of my fever ..... Fever is not coming down it stays between 99 and 100 from 12 days ...please advice should i take any blood test for fever? Or what should I do?

If there is an abscess your fever will not subside unless the abscess is removed.

Please do a complete blood count and crp. If there is evidence of ongoing infection the source of infection has to be removed.
