99 -100 fever for a week

Asked for Male, 27 Years

I have had low grade fever in the range of 99-100 for the past one week. I have taken Dolo 650mg but the low grade fever persists with general weakness that comes with fever. No other problems as such. What should I do ?

Hello Sir, Fever with generalised weakness without other symptoms could be due to a 'Viral Flu' or due to dehydration I appreciate that you took a Tab. Dolo and got temporary relief.

Next Steps

Please take Tab. Dolo 650mg four times a day after food- 8am, 12pm, 4pm and 8pm- for 2 days followed by SOS from Day 3. Nothing less than this dose would be sufficient to you- according to your height and body weight.

Health Tips

Take plenty of fluids- Water, Coconut water, buttermilk, Fresh fruit juices- 6-8Litres per day. Have a balanced diet. If the symptoms persist, please consult to primary physician. You may require a physical examination. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
