hello there. get yourself checked out by a physician first to rule out hormonal and other causes if weight gain. if everything comes normal then follow the point given below. persistence and sheer hard work are required to lose weight, there are no shortcuts. 1. drink lots of water. 2. have a high protein, low carbohydrate diet. 3. instead of having 3 meals a day, split those meals and have 5 smaller meals a day. remember, the quantity stays the same as three meals. but with the same quantity you are making 5 smaller meals. 4. have 3 cups of unsweetened green tea a day. 5. out of the 5 meals let one meal consist of only fruits and vegetables. 6. brisk walking at a rate of about 6-7 kms/ hr for atleast 20 mins a day and gradually increase the duration. 7. avoid smoking and alcohol. 8. sleep and wake up at proper time. proper sleep is very important. 9. avoid outside junk and fried foods. you could reward yourself once in 15 days for sticking to this plan by having one outside item. 10. if possible, join a good gym with a good trainer. building muscle is another easy way of losing weight. as the more the muscle mass, the more calories will be utilised. for further help with a proper diet chart with what to eat and what to avoid you could visit a dietician. but if you just follow the above points, you will be able to lose some weight. all the very best. regards.
