Hello, my baby is 13months old, I gave albendazole scrup 5ml yesterday night... Now 3 times his stools are very loose and watery...

1.Loose stools after giving Albendazole syrup is common side effect of this syrup, it's normal only. For loose stools give following medicines: Give Enterogermina respules 1 tube morning and night for 3days Give ZN 20 drops 1ml daily once for 3 days

It can happen after albendazole Make sure the child is hydrated well by giving ORS and lots of water Seek medical advice if the loose stools are persistent beyond 24hrs
