My baby is 5 months old and is passing watery foamy stools after each feed more than 10 times today. We went to Doctor yesterday he gave zincoday and lactobacillus surup even after giving those she is passing watery stools after each feed. I m really worried what shall I do to prevent this? She is currently on breast milk and we are giving formula only once in the night for 60 ml since she's not drinking at night.

Loose stools or diahroea takes typically 3-4days to settle down, and what your doc gave you is correct med. You should also give ORS very frequently, and definitely after each stool. You can continue breast milk, but you better stop giving formula till she settles down. Wishing your baby a speedy recovery. Dont hesitate to conult pediatrician again if problem remains or child becoming weak.
