Loose motions
My father has been having watery loose motions, with fowl smell continuously since 2 days, there is a very stinging pain in the anus. He is taking norflox TZ & dolokind MR since yesterday but it's not working ! Today he took eldopar but still no use. He might have got the infection as we traveled two days back & he had some spicy food & unhygenic water. What should he take now to control the motions & reduce the pain ? He has used pilex also but not much effective !

The most important thing is to maintain hydration give plenty of fluids coconut water lemon juice with added salt and sugar etc.
Antibiotic may need to be upgraded.
Tests may ne needed.
