Dear Patient,
Loose motions for 2 days can result from food poisoning, viral infections, or dietary indiscretions. Here’s my advice:
Immediate Management:
1. Hydration:
- Use ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) or homemade alternatives (lemon water + salt + sugar).
- Avoid dairy, caffeine, and fatty foods.
2. Diet:
- Follow the BRAT diet(Banana, Rice, Apple sauce, Toast).
- Include probiotics like curd or buttermilk.
3. Medications:
- Enterogermina (probiotic) as suggested earlier.
- Racecadotril (anti-secretory) for symptom control, if needed.
When to Worry:
Consult immediately if:
- Blood/mucus in stools
- High fever (>101°F)
- Signs of dehydration (dizziness, reduced urine).
For persistent symptoms beyond 48 hours or severe discomfort, a stool test may be needed. Reach me on WhatsApp at **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two** for a detailed evaluation.

Hydrate well with 3-4 lt of fluid
Eat Soft bland diet
For diarrhea relief at home, stick to a bland diet of bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast (BRAT diet), and consider adding probiotic-rich foods like yogurt or kefir, while staying hydrated with electrolyte-rich drinks like coconut water or ors drinks.
