Long time computer sitting
Hi Dr , I have High myopia of power -17D and -10.5D , right now I am education field but I want to switch to IT sector where one needs to sit in front of the computer for 9-10hrs or even more so I am very much worried as I have progressive myopia , my eyesight no. Is increasing every year by 1 no. So do I have to switch my career or not please suggest me if sitting in front of computer for many hours will effect my eye sight in long term ? If yes how can I manage that . best advice

I might effect, but there is no hard and fast rule or 100  percentage proved studies, multiple factors play a rule...you need to maintain certain lifestyles and screen working habits, i would advise for offline consultation with an eyedoctor
