Dear doctors..Need help with long term reversible contraception methods. Particularly, Copper T. Need to know their pros, cons and risk factors...

Copper T is best contraceptive after 1st delivery.advantages-need not get tensed after for sex for unwanted pregnancy.its not messy like condoms,once inserted it will protect for 3,5,10yrs.can b inserted immediately after delivery in d uterus.removing is also easy. Disadvantages- failure rate is 1%,few people have white discharge after insertion.few have irregular bleeding cycles  and spotting intermittently and takes time to adjust.may have pain lower abdomen on and off.

Cu- T is best for long term contraceptive for female already having one child...you can use it till 5 years..only some ppl develop excessive bleeding in initial few cycles..later on becomes normal..for only few ppl , cu T will not be suitable..needs removal in them.
