Long term use
Sir and Ma'am, On quitipine for 3 months. Helped a lot curing few symptoms, can I take it for longer periods. Consulting doctor said yes but the time frame not mentioned. Ongoing meds BP amd cholesterol. Pls guide. Regards, Raman P

Depending on your symptoms the duration of the medication will be suggested. However it can be taken for longer duration No problem

Firstly you need to mention for what symptoms were you prescribed quetiapine and in how much dosage along with number of times in a day. Only then we can decide the duration of treatment. Kindly consult a psychiatrist and not a general physician when it comes to taking psychiatric medication.
