Load on foot with metatarsal fracture
I have traumatic fracture on my 2nd and 4th metatarsal mid shaft bone. It is non displaced and the doctors have put me in acrelic fibre walking cast. Its been 16 days since the fracture. When should i start putting weight on my leg.. I am using a walker to walk around and have started putting some weight when I walk. I want to use a single crutch but i am afraid to use it. Should i use it to walk around so early if i dont feel any pain? If not thn when should i start?

Fibre cast is put to allow weight bearing. If you are comfortable then you can start putting weight now.. Use walker till you are comfortable walking , it only adds to security and prevents fall.
Next Steps
Share x-rays.
