Lipoma treatment
I have lipoma near neck on shoulder like 25+ years. It only bothers me when I workout espeically shoulder workout like barbell lifting. Can it be treated without surgery? also what would be the best test to see the size of lipoma? It is not painful. but when muslces become tight during workout i feel mild pain and tightness.

lipomas are usually removed by surgery only. Non surgical methods usually don't work for lipomas. There are certain injections for liquefying them but they do not work all the time. for measuring a lipoma u can mark the boundaries by feeling them and then measuring with a scale.

Ultrasound imaging can be done to know the size. There are few lipolytic injection available for its treatment. But needs few sittings depending upon the size. No creams/tablets will work for it
