Please Avoid Oily foods, carbonated drinks and spicy foods and sugar.. Kindly make him to do exercise(not vigorous exercises, just walking in the morning one hour and evening one hour is far more enough)..If he's obese make him reduce weight as much as possible..Go to follow up after 6 months by following the above..
Hypertriglyceridemia means your husband has too many triglycerides (fats) in the blood. This raises risk of atherosclerosis and related heart diseases. Lifestyle changes are vital to managing this condition. He needs to reduce his intake of sugar, refined carbs and alcohol. Exercising more can help, too.
Next Steps
At this stage ,he needs diet , exercise, to bring it below 150 mg.
If his triglycerides levels remains high even after life style change and diet modifications, he may need medicine
get his blood test repeated after 3 months.
Health Tips
drink lots of water
avoid fatty food alcoholic drinks and smoking
consume more fruits and vegetables
exercise regularly for 30 minutes a day
he could use omega 3 tablet 1000 mg daily once
