Lipid profile, CT Coronary angiography
Hi doctor, my cholesterol and triglycerides are too high and I am seeing this from last 10 years. I am 34 now, I am trying to maintain strict good lifestyle now, however I would like to know is it a good idea to get CT Coronary angiography scan done to see if there are blockages?

If you don't have any symptoms like exertional chest pain or breathlessness then no need for angiography. Consult with your lipid profile report to know if you need medicines or not.

If your cholesterol is not controlled by lifestyle measures, start medicines. No need of CT angiography if you don't have chest pain or breathlessness.
