you can go with lingual braces … there can be initial discomfort of speech , eating and tongue ulcers but the major part is it’s cleaning and you are already diabetic so you have to be extra careful with your oral hygiene.. also movement with lingual braces is slightly slower.. keeping all these aspects take a call
Next Steps
u can explore ceramic or invisalign as an option

Hi. You can go in for lingual braces if the condition favours means If your tooth can be treated by use of lingual braces you can definately try that. Anything new in mouth gonna cause you initial problem in speech, eating and can cause ulcer. Lingual braces can be a discomfort to the tongue also. Again this is very temporary till your body gets adapted to it which might take 15- 20 days ( even more or less- based on patients tolerance capacity)
Next Steps
If planned ortho don't delay further!!!
Health Tips
Even the normal braces also make you feel similar discomfort as it's with lingual. Some patients are even there who don't feel any such discomfort.. So it varies from person to person. Take care and enjoy the slow progress when the braces are on!!!
