Ligament fracture

I had a fracture on 3rd Nov. On left ligament of left knee. Then i got plaster. After 8 days i needed to remove it due to practicals in my collage. Now I'm use knee cap while walking. How many time it will to recover completely and what should i do more for it's recovery?? Also what i shouldn't do for its safety ??

It's unlikely that your ligament was healed in that duration.
