Do all pan masala, tobacco users get sub mucous fibrosis and leukoplakia? How do I know that I have leukoplakia?

The occurence of any potentially malignant disorder be it leukoplakia or submucous fibrosis depends on a number of factors. Get yourself assessed by a dentist specializing in oral medicine and radiology. Quit habit. Improve diet. Consume food rich in antioxidant and iron.

chew gum, eat chocolates, rinse for at least one minute five times a day with warm salt water,  do anything to increase the gap between each use of tobacco, and gradually quit. take help from dentist. It's not difficult, if you have the will power.

No ,all tobacco users do not get osmf or leukoplakia. But prevention is best cure. So quit tobacco chewing habbit. If you want to confirm whether you have any of these lesions you can visit dentist. If you mouth opening is less than 3 finger then you may have osmf. If you see redish white patches on buccal mucosa or tongue you may need to check for them at nearby dentist.

No to the first question. But best to avoid the cause knowing it may lead to such complications. It's best if one leaves the habits on permanent basis. Or, Visit dentist every 3-4 months for checking up whether it has initiated or not. Then the individual can give it even a thought whether to quit those habits or not. Whichever is more convenient for an individual,can go for that.
