Leg swelling in both
Sir/Ma'am, It has been observed that my ankle get swell. I did KFT and it has been found that uric acid increased for that i m taking Furic 40. Further, i m taking olisur f5 from past one year and lonazep 0.25 from 3 months. What is the reason behind ankle swelling. Last year i did holter ,ecg and echo and all comes normal. Is this the size effect of olisur f5(ankle swelling)??

Usually these medications have not been associated with such side effects but lipid profile and for sugar HbA1c should be done and taken opinion by a physician if sugar or lipid profile get deranged, you can consult your psychiatrist for other alternatives of medications. Uric acid level is deranged and this may cause swelling, you should visit a physician first

Hi.. yes they can cause ankle swelling due to alpha one adrenergic blockade causing vaso dilation. Consult online for further evaluation and management
