There r many resons for swelling and pain.. bt one reson might b nerve irritation or nerve compression or inflamation or taking medicines frm long periods. i can sugest u to do stretching exercises.. straight leg rising, calf muscles stretching, toes movements, anckle movements and rotation, towel exercises for knee and thigh.. pelvic tilt and strenghening exercises.. avoid long standing and stairs claimbing. dnt sit more in one position.. u can use crape bandage at night to reduce swelling.. its better to once u should consult with gyenec dr or ortho dr..
