I I have had a small swelling, like a spot, on my ankle for the past two months. The swelling reduces after I wake up. Could this be related to my kidneys?”.

Swelling has many causes one is increased salt intake,heart related issues (associated with breathing difficulty and disturbed sleep ), hypothyroidism and kidney disorder (associated with swelling of feet and around eyes ,foaming in the urine)
