Leg swelling
Hi , I was recently recovered from DKA and AKI. And diagnosed with type 1 DM. After walking quite long distance today , i can see little swelling in my ankles. What could be the reason? My creatinine level is 1.9 this morning.

Good morning Swelling in ankle can be due to accumulation of water in the foot Could be due to gravity or due issue with the kidney functioning Creatinine is elevated (indicates problem with kidney functioning) (0.6 to 1.2) is the normal range We have to assess whether this issue is a recent problem due to DKA (Dehydration) or it's been there for a while
