Nerve paresthesia is a known complication of any surgical procedure of the third molar.  Your lingual nerve has been injured during the process.  Usually healing may take place within a few days to a few months..  Very rarely does it last longer.  Vitamins and homeopathic medicines are known to cure the nerve..  Feel free to consult Laser Smile Care Centre..  God bless u..

Nerve injury is a common phenomenon after third molar extractions.... as nerves are one of the slowest tissues to heal, the healing time will be long and variable from patient to patient..... multivitamins can help but are not a part of definite treatment plan.... wait and watch seems to be the best policy at this point.... regards....

Numbness may be due to the injury on nerve, this must have been told you by the surgeon after seeing your xray. Take neurobion once daily for a month and wait for another month and see.
