Hello Doctors,
I am learning about asthma and have a question. I would be grateful to hear your expert opinions.
If a patient has atopic asthma, with high IgE levels and is allergic to dust, but their spirometry results are near 100% (normal), then:
👉 When the patient is exposed to dust (allergen), will they still get an asthma attack or not?
Even though the spirometry is showing normal values currently.
Please share your insights. I’m looking to understand this better from different expert perspectives.
Thank you so much in advance.
