Laxative use?
So i was having very foul smelling farts and the reason was constipation/not clear bowel movements. So, wanted to know, i have been prescribed bisacodyl 5mg for 5 days, is this medicine safe? And also, will it cure the constipation after stopping? Please help me to understand this question..

YOU MAY USE 250 GM OF FRESH VEGETABLE SALADS AND 150 GM OF FRUITS BEFORE LUNCH AND DINNER ;;; USE 1 GLASS OF CARROT FRESH UNFILTERED JUICE AND A GLASS OF PINEAPPLE JUICE AT INTERVALS --TAKE FRESH SOFT EASILY DIGESTABLE ; FIBER RICH DIET DAILY ; RESTRICT OILY ;FRIED AND JUNK FOOD. Bisacodyl is good drug for short duration. Better get evaluated for the cause of constipation.

Safe but not permanent solution to constipation. Have fibre rich diet , drink plenty, walk more.
