I have been diagnosed with lateral patellar tilt and early chondromalacia patella. I have pain in right knee and sometimes left knee. Advised Flexashot and excercises. Whether this is curable or a chronic disease? Can I do activities like dancing running etc again ever??

Hello, greetings from Kolkata.
Lateral patellar tilt is generally caused by tight lateral tissues or weak medial tissues of knee or bony abnormalities of knee. It can be managed by physiotherapy and exercises targeted at the disease. However, chondromalacia has probably happened due to lateral patellar compression syndrome.
This is also curable in early stage by medicines and exercises. But in late stages may need surgical intervention.
Next Steps
can start physiotherapy targeted to the VMO and medial hamstrings.
Patella tilt is usually treatable with excercise (like hamstring, quadriceps and abductor strengthening) ice fomentation, and medicine…..
If it doesn’t heal then we have to think about surgical intervention
Chondromalacia could be due over usee of the knee as in athletes
