Lactation problem
My baby is 5 days old. I'm trying to breastfeed her. By breast is producing only one or two drops or milk and remaining water like thing is coming. Is this normal. What can I dk to increase milk production.

Yes it’s normal for the first few days to have few drops of milk which is called colostrum , which us very beneficial to the baby. Let the baby suck every 2-3 hrs and you take diet rich in protein and plenty of fluids

Yes. It is normal for some mothers.

Try breastfeeding your baby every two hourly. even if she's not hungry. Eventually milk production will increase. also you can consult gynec to prescribe you some medicines to increase milk production. take high protein high calcium diet.
