L5/5 Disc issue
L4-5 disc shows right paracentral focal disc extrusion measuring 14 x 10 x 12 mm in size impinging on the thecal sac and cauda equina roots with mild central spinal canal stenosis, moderate right lateral recess stenosis, mild left lateral recess stenosis, compressing the right traversing L5 root and abutting the left traversing L5 root at the lateral recesses.  L5-S1 disc shows posterior central focal disc protrusion effacing epidural fat. Do I need a surgery? What could be the treatment?

There is no yes or no in spine surgery .it depends on ur symptoms and neurological deficits and ur acceptance to any form of management ur doctor suggests.  Doctor shopping in person may help.
