Hello doctor,
I had a sharp pain in my right leg till knee on Dec 12th 2024, one doctor said it's lumbar spondylosis and gave me alsody for 30 days with other nerve relaxes but pain didn't go.
After 2 weeks I went for siddha treatment and did some physiotherapy but didn't help completely(helped to an extent)
Then I consulted a spine surgeon who asked to take an mri last week on 14th January 2025. My report said l4l5 disc bulge. Attached report for your reference. So doctor gave me sody max, gabin 100 and juviana plus for 5 days then stop it to see if there is any pain.
Now I don't feel any sharp pain and the mobility haS increased but still not fully normal.
Am I going in the right direction? When will it heal completely? Should I change the tablets? Please help me

Talk to experienced orthopedist online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
You have a L4-5 disc prolapse (commonly called slipper disc) which is causing pressure on your nerves going to the leg. This pressure has happened due to the disc coming out of its place.
The fact that overall you feel better is definitely pointing in the right direction. I would probably add a short course of steroids to help fasten the recovery further, if you are medically okay
Physiotherapy is also an integral part.
