1st go for Physiotherapy TENS(if Radiculopathy)/IFT, Hot pack on Lumbar & Pirifomis including Hamstrings, PUS 8min. On tender areas/Later can take LongWave or LASER, but main is Exercise therapy and Manual therapy (Mulligan/Maitland/Butler's Neural mobilisation)... Also you have to take precautions and modifications in daily activities. You should take Physiotherapy atleast 10-15 days. After physiotherapy stil you have to cont.with exercises as well as precautions in daily activities. During travelling can use Lumbosacral corset but don't use to it. If everything fails then go to spine surgeon... Regards-Dr.Gaurav Mohan from Physio Hut.
