Know about vitamins
Hello, can 13 years old girls can take vit D? Sometimes my daughter feels left waist side pain...so is it calcium and vitamins deficiancy? Now kids r at home only online classes nd all...they r not going outside not getting sunlight no much physical exercise also... I giving Zincovit multivitamin syrup...is it necessary to give Vitamin D also? Please suggest...thank you

Vit D is to be got naturally from sun. Give her good food,plenty of vegetables,fruits,milk,milkproducts,greengram sprouts everyday. Allow her to stroll around from6 am to 7 am in and around a garden,ur terrace,.park.Even swimming,badminton,throwball Any sports can be played. Avoid fastfoods,bakeryfoods,stored foods. Yoga exercise ,walking everyday for one hour is advisable Milk,milkproducts ghee is good for everyday

Hello. Please continue zincovit syrup. Vitamin D supplements should not be given until a blood test is done to confirm a deficiency. Include fresh fruits and raw vegetables, add milk and milk products, dry fruits, dates, desi ghee and ensure 10 minutes of sunlight exposure (balcony/veranda/window), preferably around 10am. You can include simple exercises at home itself - dance/skipping/ aerobics in order to keep her active.
