Knee XRay findings
I had a knee xray for some minor knee pain. The findings are as below: Mild asymmetrical and patellofemoral joint space narrowing is noted Tiny marginal osteophytes are seen rising from medial tibial & femoral condyles Early patellar breaking is noted.Mild tibial spiking seen. Summary - Early degenerative changes in both knees. Is this normal for a 49 yr old...pls advise any precautions, supplements or exercises..thanks

This is the onset of arthritis in the knee. This happens usually depending on your work life and the daily stress on your knees. You can do quadriceps strengthening exercises and take calcium supplements for time being. Also do not squat or sir cross legged on floor. Do not carry heavy weights
